(collaboration between Super Junior fanbases/fansites)
On March 11, 2011, there was a massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan, which began an ongoing domino effect of suffering- a tsunami, 6.4 magnitude aftershocks, landslides, lack of power in over 5 million households and even worse - a nuclear alert. Thousands have been confirmed dead and even more are still missing and these issues will probably continue plaguing Japan as they try to rebuild everything they‘ve lost – so while this is going on, the question is, what can we do to help?
The entire world is being called upon by various charities to help out in supporting Japan turn itself upright again amidst this crisis, and because of this a lot of us Super Junior fanbases are uniting to help out! You‘re probably here because you are a member of a fanbase or fansite – either a forum, a follower on Twitter, etc. Our aim is for all of us to come together to donate one huge amount to the Japanese Red Cross Society, instead of splitting off and donating small amounts as individual fanbases. We believe that the more of us working together, the more significant our contribution to help those in need can be.

We are collecting donations from March 21st to April 2nd.
We can‘t stress hard enough that the success of this project will depend highly on ELF, as a community and as a fanbase. We are not here to promote our fansites, or get Super Junior to notice us. We are just a bunch of fans who want to donate to help Japan by making our supposedly small contributions as individuals grow into something huge and amazing, by depending on the power of Super Junior‘s fandom in uniting against the midst of a crisis. So we hope you can all join us! ♥
