Sungmin's Birthday Project! [/color][/b][/u]  [/center] This is the exciting project perMINent is doing for our Sungmin's Birthday! Originally, we did state that we would not be doing a project for Sungmin's birthday since we have no way to deliver them. However, the founders will be seeing him in February and we plan to pass the gift on to him then. We will include a note that we apologize for the late birthday gift, and explain the situation with us not being in Korea. We hope you all will understand as well that the birthday present will be delivered late, but it will be delivered. Now what are we doing? We are making "Happy Birthday, Sungmin!" signs! And not only that, you will also take a picture of yourself with the sign. We want to show Sungmin his fans! This means all of you! Below are the guidelines to making your sign and taking your picture. Once you follow all the guidelines completely, you will then email us your high quality picture. From there we will print them all out and write your name and country on the back. (you can also include your age if you wish). We will then give them all to Sungmin in February or March when we see him ^^ Both girls and boys, older and younger, regardless of nationality are urged to join! If you speak a foreign language and know people that do NOT speak English, you are welcome to translate this project and promote it in other websites and forums. You do NOT have to be a perMINent member to join in if you do not speak and/or read English. To participate you MUST follow all the rules and requirements listed on this page and then email us your picture by January 5th at the latest with the form provided completely filled out. If you fail to do this, you will not be included! Deadline[/color] for all submissions is January 5th 15th! To put the project simply, just make a sign that says "Happy Birthday, Sungmin"on a piece of paper the size of regular computer printer paper or bigger and nothing else and take a high quality picture. Then fill out the form and then send it to us. If you don't want to decorate it or add extra things, that is the simplest way to do it. |

Rules [/color][/b][/u][/center] Sign Rules[/color] Signs must be at least 8.5x11" in size. Meaning you can make your sign as little as a piece of printing paper. There is no limit on how big the sign can be. There is one major requirement of each sign: It must say, in English, "Happy Birthday Sungmin" as the largest part of the sign. This is the part we want to stand out the most. YOU CAN:[/color] +[/color] Cut the sign in special shapes. +[/color] Draw stars, hearts, cats, balloons, etc on it. +[/color] Use stickers +[/color] Put pictures of Super Junior all together and/or Sungmin on it as long as they do not have watermarks on them from other websites. OFFICIAL AND SELF TAKEN PHOTOS ONLY. +[/color] Write Happy Birthday in your own native language along with the the English. +[/color] Write "I love you" in English or "I love you" in your native tongue. +[/color] Write song lyrics in Korean from the following songs on the sign (not a requirement!) It's You No Other Love U More You can find the CORRECT lyrics for these songs here!+[/color] Design something on photoshop and print it out for your sign. +[/color] Be creative! Decorate it how you want. YOU CAN NOT:[/color] -[/color] Have the sign be less that 8.5x11" in size. -[/color] Put your name on the sign -[/color] Put stickers of licensed artists (cat sticker = ok, hello kitty sticker = not ok) -[/color] Put pictures with watermarks on your sign. No Daksu20, Oppaya, Fall in Min, etc pictures. Photo RulesAll pictures must be at least 800x800 pixels inside. The higher the quality, the better! We will resize them ourselves, but the higher the quality is, the better the picture will look. The two major things when taking a picture is making sure its clear. Meaning you must have good lighting. Also the picture can not be blurry. I recommend taking multiple pictures so you can see which one has the best lighting and in case the first one you take is blurry and you didn't notice! YOU CAN:[/color] +[/color] Wear whatever you want as long as its presentable and doesn't fall into the "You can't" category. +[/color] Wear anything that is required by your religion. You do not have to ask if its okay, we understand and do not discriminate! +[/color] Wear hats, head bands, and even animal ears! +[/color] Show anything from just your face to whole body. The more of you in it, the better! +[/color] Not show your face. Though we do encourage it, I understand some people may not want to. But I'm sure Sungmin would like seeing everyone's faces more! +[/color] Photoshop out bad skin or pimples. If you have a giant pimple on your nose that day and you want to blur it out, we totally understand. +[/color] Take your picture in any location with good lighting. Outside, your room, living room, a store. Wherever you feel like! We encourage outside pictures just because they have the best lighting! +[/color] Have one friend in a picture with you. No more than 2 people to a picture. We encourage taking each picture alone! YOU CAN NOT:[/color] -[/color] Have any nudity. Short shorts/skirts/dresses and tank tops are fine. But no underwear, bathing suits, tube tops, etc. All boys must wear shirts. -[/color] No clothing depicting other musical artists, actors, models. Only Super Junior or Sungmin! -[/color] No pictures/posters in the background depicting other musical artists, actors, models, etc. Only Super Junior or Sungmin! -[/color] No bad lighting. Good, bright lighting is very important to a good picture! -[/color] No blurry photos. -[/color] Photoshop more than just skin flaws. We understand photoshopping out a pimple or even a big scar, but photoshopping eyes another color, for example, is not allowed. -[/color] Have more than 2 people to a picture. We want as many pictures as possible, so if 15 people crowd around one sign, that's 15 separate pictures we could have had with various signs. Examples[/color][/size] Bad[/color][/u]  The image is a good size and the picture is clear, but the sign does NOT say "Happy Birthday Sungmin" on it, so it is unacceptable!  The image is a good size and the Happy Birthday Sungmin is clear and the only Korean on the sign says "I love you" so that is allowed. However, saying "Lee Sungmin Please... Marry Me!!" is against the rules and makes it unacceptable. Also the image is from dailyvita and not an official image so that also makes it unacceptable!  The image is a good size and the picture is clear, as well as Happy Birthday Sungmin. The "President" Picture is official and two of the Korean phrases are okay, one saying "Happy Birthday" and the other saying "It's you" from the song. However, the two top phrases in Korean and English are against the rules, mentioning other artists is against the rules, and the image of him with the balloons is fantaken. Also, it has a name and location. Thus, this picture would not be accepted!  The sign is too small so this picture would not be accepted. It must be at least 8.5" by 11"!  The sign follows the rules, but the picture is too small and the lighting is too dark, so you can't see the person. This would not be acceptable! The sign is the correct size. The picture of Sungmin is one taken by a friend of his, so it is acceptable. It is decorated with stars, hearts, and kittens that are non descriptive, so it is also allowed. The image is bigger than 800x800pixels. Also you can see the persons face which is highly encouraged! This is an ideal picture submission.  "Happy Birthday, Sungmin!" is clear and large. The only other text is "I love you" in Portugese (the sign maker is from Brazil). All other sign rules are followed and there is good lighting. Though you can't see a face, it is clear someone is holding it. The image is high quality, greater than the 800x800pixel rule. This is an ideal picture submission. |

Submitting Your Photo [/color][/b][/u][/center] So have you read all the above? Have you made a sign that follows all the rules and taken a picture that also follows the rules? Great! Now you can send it to us! First, we need you to fill out the simple form (note that on Location, you only have to fill out the Country, all other parts are optional). Name, Location, and Age is what will be on the back of your picture, so it must say what you want it to say on the picture.
